INCO-HEALTH – Enlarging Regional Network for
Health and Insurance Card Strategies
The INCO-HEALTH operation is now being brought to a successful
conclusion. The operation has lead to the establishment of a permanent
network of Regions which - starting from involved partners – is now
including a number of public administrations in charge for the design
and implementation of health insurance cards (HIC) strategies. The
results achieved through the interregional cooperation will form the
basis for further developments and additional activities, which will
continue beyond the operation’s conclusion.
Operation’s results and lessons learnt have been discussed during the
Final Conference, which took place in Venice on 26th February 2007. The
conference gathered stakeholders involved in the e-Health and
interregional cooperation domains addressing relevant challenges that
public administrations are facing in deploying complex e-Health
strategies and sharing knowledge and experiences on these themes.
